IPA International Graduation Ceremony: Lomé Celebrates Knowledge and African Leadership

On March 28, 2026, the city of Lomé hosted an exceptional international graduation ceremony organized by Innovation Partners in Action (IPA). The event brought together students from Burkina Faso, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, and Germany, highlighting the institution’s transnational mission.

In a solemn yet festive atmosphere, graduates dressed in gowns and sashes proudly marched before their mentors, families, and distinguished guests. The highlight of the ceremony was the official awarding of diplomas, symbolizing academic achievement and the transition to new professional responsibilities.

Beyond the awarding of doctoral degrees, the ceremony was highlighted by the presentation of honorary leadership distinctions to several administrative, political, and religious figures. Among the honorees were Senator Kossi Agbéboumé, the Mayor of Kloto 2, Eho Kodzo Mawuena, and three pastors representing different local churches.

In the same spirit of recognition, IPA coordinators from Benin, Togo, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, and the United States were also honored, acknowledging their unwavering commitment to advancing education and leadership across Africa and beyond.Academic leaders emphasized the importance of ethics, dedication, and social impact in the professional journeys of the graduates. The 2026 edition will be remembered as a moment of pride, unity, and hope, reaffirming IPA’s role as a key driver of education and leadership in Africa.

Rev. Mrs. Shalom Amona, Coordinator for the United States, concluded by inviting African leaders to “get on board” and actively contribute to the flourishing of the continent.
