Doctorate (professional) in Practical Theology (Th.D.)

Candidates of Doctor Degree in Practical Theology (Ph. D and Th.D.) are trained to become an expert in the field of practical theology. They have the knowledge and skills to teach in a college or university. They can also be used in many capacities and in different institutions, including the Church. It is highly recommended to church founders, pastors in charge of a region or district.

Ph.D. and ThD are equivalent doctoral programme. However, the main difference between ThD and Ph.D. is that the Th. D being professional focuses more on the study of Christian theology.
