A Doctor in Educational Leadership (LEDU. D) is a practitioner’s degree program that equips education leaders with the skills they need to help them solve problems and bring about positive change in a variety of environments.
These learning environments include, higher education institutions and even training environments in enterprise and military. Graduates of this programme can lead non-profit organizations
that explicitly focus on improving outcomes and opportunities for children, families and communities. They may also take on leadership roles in education at the State, such as the roles of Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner of education. They could also be advisers on the promotion of public education or educational policies to senior officials.
In addition to specialized knowledge related to leadership in a diverse educational environment, graduates of this program are equipped with skills in educational technology, change management in educational organizations, educational policies, practices, and legal issues, educational resource management, contemporary approaches to educational issues, and program evaluation.
